The Chrome Dinosaur Game (also known as the T-Rex Game, or Dino Runner) was created as an Easter egg for Google Chrome's offline error page. When Chrome users find themselves without an internet connection and attempt to visit a website, they're greeted by a pixelated T-Rex and the message "No internet".
The game features a running T-Rex that players must guide across a side-scrolling landscape, avoiding obstacles by jumping or ducking. As time progresses, the game speeds up, making it increasingly challenging to avoid the cacti and pterodactyls that appear in the dinosaur's path.
